I have been praying this last year for my 23 year old
step-daughter, who needed some direction in her life, to return to the church.
She was living with a boyfriend, something now she will never do again.
She realizes now what a mistake that was.
I put her name on the Green
Scapular, prayed earnestly for her and about 2 months afterwards she left her
boyfriend, moved back in with her father and I, and started going back to church
on her own. I was very surprised and extremely grateful to see this happen
so soon!
She has not yet gone to
confession, but is anxious to do so. She is working many hours at
a nursing home right now, and loving every minute of it! She
really seems to be getting her life together.

She has met a new boyfriend, who is in his last year of college,
who is very religious, and in this day and age of many young people not staying
celibate, he has done so. He believes strongly in marriage, and is waiting
for that. He plans on attending graduate school for the next two years,
and then if they are still together they will start looking towards marriage.
It is a true miracle the way everything seems to be
falling together for her. I continue to pray to Mother Mary for her.
I have no doubt of the effect of the Green Scapular, having seen the change in
my dying mother-in-law immediately after I put her name on the Scapular and hung
it above her bed in her nursing home. She then remained pain free until
she calmly passed away over 3 weeks later.
