On September 27, 1999, a great and miraculous event took place
on the Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul. After attending Mass in honor of
this great and holy Saint, Anna Marie, an Apostle of the Green Scapular, was
greeted by two Angels from the Lord.
The two Angels, while kneeling in humility to announce God's
Holy Promise, declared the following message from the Lord:
"On this day the Lord has chosen, that out of the 365 days
of the year, on this day; whosoever shall have died throughout the year with
their names placed on a Green Scapular, shall be released from Purgatory and
enter into the gates of Heaven."
Nothing more was said, they departed and the
Apostle was in total awe. Prayer group members had already
submitted over 300 blessed Green Scapulars with over 1,000 names on
|
of people placed on them and some had died during the past two
years since the founding of the Apostolate. Yet one question did remain,
why did the Lord choose St. Vincent de Paul's feast day?
Not knowing why this day of all days,
had been chosen from the
Lord, Anna Marie consulted with another Apostle, Margaret.
Margaret had just returned from
France visiting various shrines of the Saints, including St. Catherine Laboure
and St. Vincent, in Rue du Bac, Paris, France.
St. Catherine was one of the
Sisters of Charity (known also as Daughters of Charity) and she had received the
Miraculous Medal from Blessed Mother in the 1800's. Then Margaret
instantly understood why the Lord chose St. Vincent's feast day and responded
quickly to Anna Marie saying: |
"St.
Justine Bisqueyburu who received the Green Scapular from Blessed Mother
Mary, was a nun from the Order of the Daughters of Charity that St.
Vincent de Paul helped begin.
Yes, it now made perfect sense. The Lord would choose this
holy Priest to oversee our efforts. Even in the 21st Century, when so many souls are in trouble
and falling away from Jesus and Holy Mother Church, Jesus promises to revive His
Church through the intercession of His holy Mother and St. Vincent de Paul.
The promise is clear, if you write the
name of someone on a blessed Green Scapular and they pass away during
the year, on St. Vincent de Paul's feast day of September 27th, Jesus will
take the soul of your loved one from Purgatory and
into heaven! Praise to you Almighty and Merciful God!

St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul was born near Dax in the village of Pouy in Gascony,
France in the year 1581. Born one of four sons and two sisters and being
of very humble means, St. Vincent would watch over the sheep and recite
the Psalms. He was an astute child and the neighbors noticed his
intelligence, convincing Vincent's father that it would best if he
received schooling. His father agreed.
St. Vincent finished his studies at the University of Toulouse and was
ordained a priest in the year 1600. He was the founder of the
Congregation of the Mission Priests, the Ladies of Charity and the
Sisters of Charity (also known as the Daughters of Charity in 1660
A.D.) St. Vincent fought heroically against the many assaults and
blasphemes against the church.
At the end of his life, he was very sickly and in the autumn of 1660, he
died. Monsieur Vincent, the peasant priest, was Canonized by Pope
Clement XII, in 1737. Pope Leo XIII proclaimed him the patron saint of
all charitable societies. |

Annual Mass Celebration
We give thanks and praise to God for
receiving our loved ones to heaven on the feast day of St. Vincent de
Paul. Through the Lord's holy mercy, those family members and
friends that we have loved in life and that had their names written on a
blessed Green Scapular before they passed away; are no longer being
detained in Purgatory for years and years. On September 27th,
through the Angels message to Anna Marie, our loved ones are now
receiving expiation of their Temporal Punishment in a shorter time
frame, within the years. So if your loved one dies in November
2007, then on September 27th, 2008 they will be released from purgatory
and enter into heaven! We invite you to trust in God's revelation
and promise and write your family members names on a blessed Green
Scapular too! We invite everyone around the world to join us in the
annual recitation of the St. Vincent de Paul
Novena. |
Daughters of Charity
We encourage your support for the many Daughters of
Charity religious orders around the world. They continue the work that
St. Vincent de Paul started and through their love, hard work and mercy;
we have hope that they will continue to be an inspiration to us all.
Please remember to support your local Daughters of Charity convents and
the many St. Vincent de Paul Societies in your local church community.
